Care Guide

With the right care, your ResinByArchi piece will stay beautiful for years. Here is what you need to know.

Cleaning

• Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges or rough materials that can scratch the surface.
• Use mild soap diluted in water for stubborn marks. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry immediately.
• Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, acetone, or alcohol-based products — these can dull or damage the resin surface.

Water and Moisture

• Most finished resin pieces are water-resistant but should not be submerged or left in standing water.
• Do not place resin pieces in a dishwasher unless the specific product is explicitly marked dishwasher-safe.
• Dry your piece immediately if it gets wet, especially around any embedded elements like dried flowers or photos.

Sunlight and Heat

• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight. UV exposure over time can cause yellowing or fading, particularly on pieces with embedded photographs or light-colored pigments.
• Do not place resin pieces near direct heat sources such as stovetops, radiators, or heating vents.
• Avoid leaving resin items in a hot car for extended periods.

Scratches and Surface Care

• Resin can scratch if dragged across rough surfaces. Use felt pads under coasters, trays, and decorative pieces to protect both the item and your furniture.
• Light surface scratches on glossy finishes can sometimes be buffed out with a plastic polish or car wax applied with a soft cloth.

Storage

• Store pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
• Wrap in soft cloth or tissue paper if storing long-term to prevent contact scratches.

Coasters and Functional Pieces

• Resin coasters are water-resistant and suitable for cold or room-temperature drinks. Avoid placing very hot cups directly on resin without a heat mat.
• Wipe spills promptly, especially acidic liquids like juices or wine.

Keychains and Wearables

• Keep away from perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals which can affect the surface finish over time.
• Store separately from metal objects that could scratch the surface.
